Our dear cousin Benny

Since I have known Benny and Cecilia, they have made me feel very special and have always been warm and welcoming. I feel great privilege in knowing I was a part of Benny's life and saw the many qualities he is known to have. Their kindness and generosity to us will remain dear in our hearts forever.

We all attended the

Saligao's annual 31st dances and Mae de Deus Feast together and thoroughly enjoyed each others company, and our table was always merry and  happy faces were in plain sight. We looked forward to meeting each other at these events and they soon became a highlight of the year. A time that stays at the forefront of my memory, was when leaving the dance we were confused about the route home and Benny quickly stepped in to help saying "Just follow me!" and when we reached, I can still picture Benny winding his car window down and waving us good-bye. This conveys how considerate and a gentleman he was entirely.

The Mascarenhas' get together brought us all closer together where we held parties at different people's houses. At ours, we held a "Strictly Come Dancing" competition where Benny won! His talent for dancing shone through and his outgoing, bubbly personality was prominent in the room. The times shared at these parties were filled with laughter and the lively atmosphere was so fun to be in.

We used to love being in Benny and Cecilia's company, and now attending functions will not be the same without our dear Benny.
We miss you so much and you were a truly special cousin to have known so well.
Cecilia was very lucky to have you in her life and we all understand why she is missing you ever so fondly.

We will continue to love you both, cherish the lovely times we shared and continue to have those time with Cecilia.

Rest in Peace Benny.

Forever in our hearts
